Savings Warrantee for the Hydro Assist Fuel Cell
The HAFC Kit buyer has a minimum 50% mileage improvement warrantee:
This Savings Warrantee is provided by JeffOtto.com LTD, herein after referred to as the seller, the entity the HAFC Kit buyer purchased the product through. The manufacturer warrants the HAFC Kit for defective parts for 1 year. In order to activate your Savings Warrantee, as the kit buyer, you must follow these procedures to accurately determine your actual fuel economy increase.
The kit buyer must scientifically test the vehicle for fuel economy according to our published test procedures. The same test must be done both before and after the HAFC installation. The test results of your vehicle before installation must be recorded on the Mileage Test Calculation Form on page 7 of the manual and the gas receipt to prove it must be saved until after the vehicle is modified.
The modification should be installed in a temporary fashion until a Certified HAFC "Tuner" is able to examine the installation and dial in the Optimizer properly. When our Tuner has completed the install check and performed their service they will authorize the “Mechanic Sign Off Sheet” on page 2 of the manual. The Kit Buyer must repeat the same mileage test after the modification to determine if the performance is in accordance with this Savings Warrantee. Once again, the results must be recorded on the Mileage Test Calculation Form on page 7 of the manual and the gas receipt to prove it must be saved.
The before test results can then be compared to the properly modified and tuned vehicle test results. If the mileage increased, under reasonably the same conditions as before modification, by at least an increase of 50% or better then the seller has performed as advertised. If the increase is less than a 50% and the kit buyer is not satisfied, then the kit buyer can return the kit to the seller for a full no-hassle refund.
The kit buyer has two weeks from our Tuner’s sign-off date to test the mileage as outlined herein and request a refund from the seller if the savings performance was not at least 50% increase in fuel economy and they are not satisfied with the mileage improvement achieved. If the request is not made within two weeks of your visit with our Tuner the Savings Warrantee is thereafter void. When the request for refund is properly submitted the seller will be allowed 5 business days to determine if the calculations have been done correctly and everything was submitted as required. The seller will then issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number to the kit buyer, with which they can pack up the kit and return it in resalable condition (as per the instructions in your Installation Manual) for their full product cost of $1,095.95.
