Savings Warrantee for the Hydro Assist Fuel Cell

If unsure of the condition of your application please print out our "vehicle condition check list" for your local mechanic to verify prior to purchase, un-corrected mechanical issues will void this guarantee.
This Savings Warrantee is provided by JeffOtto.com LTD, herein after referred to as the seller, the authorized dealer the HAFC buyer purchased the system through. The manufacturer, Dutchman Enterprises (HAFC), warrants the entire HAFC for defective parts for a 1 year period of time. In order to activate your Savings Warrantee these procedures must be followed to accurately determine your actual fuel economy increase.
The vehicle must be scientifically tested for fuel economy according to our published mileage test procedures before installation. A mileage test must be done both before and after the HAFC has been installed and tuned. The test results of your vehicle before installation must be recorded on the Mileage Test Calculation Form provided in the manual and the gas receipts, initial and return top off, to prove it must be saved.
Hydro Assist Fuel Cell Customers:
The HAFC components should be installed in a temporary fashion until a factory certified HAFC "Tuner" level technician is able to examine the installation and dial in the optimizer properly. After our technician has completed the install check and performed their service have them authorize the “Mechanic Sign Off Sheet” also provided in the manual. The mileage test must be done after the modification to determine if the performance is in accordance with this Savings Warrantee. Once again, the results need to be recorded on the Mileage Test Calculation Form and the gas receipts saved.
Genesis Combustion Enhancement System Customers:
The HAFC components, EXCLUDING the Optimizer, may be installed by the customer or their mechanic in a temporary fashion until an authorized participating auto dealership is able to examine the installation and install the optimizer. After our participating auto dealer has completed the install check and performed their installation and tuning of the computer controls have them authorize the “Mechanic Sign Off Sheet” also provided in the manual. The mileage test must be done after the modification to determine if the performance is in accordance with this Savings Warrantee. Once again, the results need to be recorded on the Mileage Test Calculation Form and the gas receipts saved.
The before test results can then be compared to the properly modified and tuned vehicle test results. If the mileage increased, under reasonably the same conditions as before modification, by at least an increase of 50% or better then the seller has performed as advertised. If the increase is less than 50% and the kit buyer is not satisfied, they may than submit an RMA request to the seller.
The HAFC buyer has two weeks from our Certified Technician's sign-off date to request a refund from the seller if the savings performance was not at least 50% increase in fuel economy and they are not satisfied with the mileage improvement achieved. If the request is not made within two weeks of our technician's sign-off date this Savings Warrantee is thereafter void.
Once the request for refund is submitted the seller will be allowed 5 business days to determine if the calculations have been done correctly and all documentation was submitted as required. The seller, if applicable, will then issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number to the kit buyer, with which they can pack up the kit and return it to our manufacture in resalable condition in the original packaging (as per the instructions in your Installation Manual). The kit buyer will be responsible for refurbishing costs, if any, incurred by seller to restore the kit to resalable condition.
